Lauren started watching the X-Files at 9-years-old and it inspired her to study Communications & Production. Her production experience includes ABC radio station, 95.5 WPLJ in New York City, 88.7 FM in New Jersey, and writing and producing the short film Big Tammi.
In addition to being a marketing and public relations professional, Lauren is a freelance writer and designer, and has sold thousands of original art prints to other geeky folks. In 2018, Lauren and Carly reconnected in New York City and decided to use their production backgrounds to partner and create The X-Files Fan Retrospective. They have interviewed over 90 cast and crew members, and fans worldwide about how The X-Files has shaped their lives in a positive way. |
Carly Blake, owner of PunkRox Productions, graduated from The College of New Jersey before moving to California where she worked on the television shows ER, The West Wing, Third Watch and Monk.
Upon her return to New Jersey she was hired by MSG Varsity as a media trainer and was nominated for 3 Emmy Awards. In 2016, Carly joined MLB Network and NHL Networks. She received her first Emmy for her work with MLB Tonight, the network’s flagship program. Carly founded PunkRox Productions to assist long-term shelter animals find their forever homes. Her adoption videos were well-received and dozens of dogs have been adopted. She is also producing “Broken” a documentary which follows the rescue and rehabilitation of abused animals. |
